Donate! Rather than having several small fundraisers or selling products, we are asking families to make a direct donation to maximize our ability to financially support our school and its families in an efficient way. These are still challenging times when many families are struggling – we completely understand if you are not able to contribute financially this year. For those who are in a position to donate, any amount, large or small, makes a difference.

Why your donation matters more than ever:
Even though this school year feels more “normal” again, we’re still in an unprecedented time. The emotional toll of the pandemic has impacted our teachers and staff, our students, and our families in ways we never imagined. Many students are struggling to focus and are catching up on gaining social skills in the school context.
Our amazing educators and staff are fatigued and yet continually pivot to overcome distractions and obstacles. For this reason, we’re focusing the Direct Drive on better equipping classrooms to alleviate the stress and demands on our educators. We’ve asked teachers to identify what would be most helpful and your donation will support their efforts in very tangible ways.
How your donation can enrich our student’s academic experiences (including, but not limited to):
- Classroom supplies like headsets, chill-out corners, sensory toys
- New library books, art supplies and eStem materials
- Specialist materials for students to do hands-on projects
- The music program
- Online professional development for our teachers and staff
- Communication tools to keep our community connected and informed
- Assembly speakers, special guests, and field trips
- Strong social-emotional curriculum as kids continue to process the impacts of a pandemic
- Crossing guard and playground equipment

You can double your gift if your employer matches donations to charitable organizations. All donations are tax-deductible (ID # 91-1447769). Because Arbor Heights PTSA is a 501(c)(3), individuals may deduct qualified contributions of up to 100 percent of their adjusted gross income.
