Mid-Year PTSA Fundraising Update
Hi Arbor Heights Community,
Thank you so much for the many ways you have already supported our PTSA this year. Every donation, purchase, volunteer hour, and kind word helps make Arbor Heights a stronger, more vibrant place for our students and staff.
This year, our PTSA set an ambitious but meaningful fundraising goal of $115,000. We did this with a clear purpose in mind:
- $65,000 to fund the FTE for a music teacher, bringing music back to Arbor Heights!
- $40,000 to support the programs we already help fund, including 5th grade camp, school assemblies, after-school enrichment scholarships, classroom and teacher support, and community events (you can see a full breakdown here)
- $10,000 to create flexibility for important opportunities we were unable to fully fund this year, such as Roots of Empathy for 1st graders, Arbor Heights staff T-shirts, additional art supplies, Explorations Day, and other emerging needs
So far this school year, thanks to this incredible community, we have raised $39,587, which means we have $75,500 left to reach our goal.
We understand that families have different capacities to give so we have spread our fundraising across many options. So far, that has included our Jog-a-Thon, pie sale, j.hawks merchandise sale, and Giving Tuesday donations. There are more opportunities coming:
- Our annual auction (our largest fundraising event): We still need volunteer support! Click here for more information.
- A Read-a-Thon this spring
- Mother’s Day flower basket sales
- The ability to donate any amount at any time by scanning the QR code at school events or using the link on our PTSA Website
Whether it’s $5 or $500, every dollar truly adds up and directly supports our students, teachers, and school community.
Thank you for being part of what makes Arbor Heights such a special place. We are grateful for your generosity and shared commitment to our kids.
Warmly,
Rikki Hill
PTSA President
